Can anyone explain the different productBundles for PlanetScope? Am new to remote sensing and understand that ‘top of the atmosphere reflectance’ means direct reflance and ‘surface reflectance’ means corrected for atmospheric effects. There are 4 bundles:

|analytic|top of the atmosphere reflectance|B1-B4 and UDM|
|analytic_udm2|top of the atmosphere reflectance|B1-B4 and UDM and UDM2|
|analytic_sr|surface reflectance|B1-B4 and UDM|
|analytic_sr_udm2|surface reflectance|B1-B4 and UDM and UDM2|

Am planning on using for agriculture monitoring? Am guessing analytic_sr and analytic_sr_udm2 are best for that but what is the difference and which to choose?

analytic_sr_udm2 has some additional meta-data bands, see documentation

And you are right, using surface reflectance is best.

We recommend to use analytic_sr_urm2 - you can choose whether to use additional meta-data bands later on - they will not do any “damage” by being there…
