COP-DEM release 2021 upgrade on AWS

Dear users,

on Monday the 9th of May 2022, we will upgrade the Copernicus DEM files, which are from release 2019, to the latest, 2021 release. We will also provide all other files that come with Copernicus DEM, which include auxiliary TIFFs, previews of all TIFFs, XML with the metadata, and others. From these additional files, we will process only auxiliary TIFFs in the same way as DEM files, so we have them available as COGs.

We upgraded it yesterday - the 9th of May - like we announced.

Do you know if there is a WMS/WMTS stream for global viewing of COP DEM 30m without downloading?

Hi,

You can create your own WMS/WMTS stream in Sentinel Hub using the Configuration utility.

We have a guide on how to do this.
