Image by S2A or S2B?

Hi Sentinel-team,

When I pick a certain area taken by, lets say sentinal-2, is there any chance to find out if S2A or S2B has taken the image?
I know they are more or less identical, and that L1C/L2A is also not helping…

The data obtained with CatalogAPI contains also information about the satellite.

In the sentinelhub-py examples you will see that the satellite (sentinel-2a or sentinel-2b) is given with key platform.

This information is available both for L1C and L2A data.
