Introducing Advanced Security Features to Your Collections!

Hello Sentinel Hub Community,

We would like to share some important news with you all! We’ve just rolled out advanced security feature for your collections, ensuring your data remains safe and secure.

What’s New:

Default Protection:

From now on, all newly created collections will be protected by default. This means that your new collections are automatically limited only to your user account, even if you share your collection ID with others. Note, that all the existing collections and configurations with these collections remain the same.

Protect Your Existing Collections:

Now, you can manage how your existing collections are shared! If you want to protect them, open your Dashboard and click on “My Collections”. Click on the icon with unlocked lock to enable this feature. Note, that any users you have previously shared your collection ID with will lose access once you enable this feature.

Selective Sharing:

We’re introducing the option to share your protected collections with specific users. You have full control over who can access your collections by specifying a list of users with their account ID’s.

Important Reminder:

Once you have protected a collection, it cannot be changed back to unprotected by you. Only Sentinel Hub Support has the authority to revert this setting. If you ever wish to make a protected collection unprotected again, simply reach out to us directly by sending email to our support team, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
