NDMI (MOISTURE INDEX) conversion to Mbar or VWC%

Hi all,
I use the NDVI and Moister index for agriculture study.
I want to “translate” the values of the moisture index to the “real world” wetness values (Mbar/VWC%).
is there anyhow I can do it??
