When I request Sentinel1 radar imagery (VV, ascending, IW) for the same coordinate boundary box I notice that the images are often shifted with respect to one another for some areas of interest.Is there a way to rectify the images?

Sentinel Hub can return terrain corrected Sentinel-1 data as well. Have a look at https://sentinelshare.page.link/5A1x

Using such approach provides you with analysis ready S-1 data (see card4l specs and request builder tool). If the shifts remain, then they you will have to resort to co-registration techniques.
I have same problem even when using terrain correction. Actually requests builder doesn’t have this problem but processing API does.
