Some dates there is no img

Hello,

In same dates there is no image download it in Planetscope. I have suscribe and some date there is no image. I want to know the reason that there is no image in those date.
I look forward the answer

Hi @antonio.santos.rodri ,

It could possibly be that there’s no data on those days. I suggest using the Search Options of the Requests Builder to check if there is data on those dates.

PlanetScope has almost daily coverage worldwide. According to the Planet imagery product specifications, the capacity of the coverage per day could change based on the number of satellites in orbit and throughout the season, as satellites image less in the northern hemisphere in the winter time because of a decrease in the amount of hours with sunlight.

They also have a standard for publication. Imagery must pass all quality thresholds for publication in their catalog. Some common reasons for non-publication of imagery could be the followings:

  • weather
  • lack of ground lock
  • image quality
