Would anyone know which one time spent for a planet image to be made available in the search catalog ?
You mean available for order via “Third party data interface”? Typically we’ve seen cca 24 hours after acqusition.

I am 9 days behind in a monitoring area. Is this normal? Have you ever seen it happen?
Based on our experience, Planet is acquiring data on a daily basis. That said, if the data are too cloudy to allow for georeferencing of appropriate quality, the data are not distributed.
Might it be that this area was very cloudy for the last 9 days?
